Zlatan Ibrahimovic poised to complete Arsenal move 1

Ibrahimovic Arsenal

The man that famously said that “I don’t do trials. You know who I am” when Wenger asked him to trial for Arsenal will finally make his move to North London.

Ibrahimovic’s contract at PSG expires in the summer, which has lead to speculation over where the Sweden international will be headed. Chelsea are also keen on Ibrahimovic but he has indicated a move to the Emirates would appeal to him.

It is believed that a conversation with Petr Cech during the Sweden v Czech Republic match may have sealed the deal.

Negotiations are at an advanced stage. Ibrahimovic is notorious for his high wage demands, however Arsenal have agreed to make him the joint highest paid player at the club along with Mesut Ozil.

Ibrahimovic is no stranger to the big stage and will give Arsene Wenger the experience and goal scoring prowess he so desperately needs up front.

Speaking to the Swedish media this week after the 1-1 draw with the Czech Republic, Zlatan wasn’t exactly subtle about where he would be taking the next step of his career:

“I want to move to London and I want to wear the colour red, a colour that represents passion, love and energy, just like me”

When asked if he meant Arsenal when he meant a ‘red London team’ he responded:

“Zlatan does not play for Leyton Orient”

In his trademark third person.

Ibrahimovic then continued:

“Zlatan will not only fool you in April, Zlatan fools every month of the year”

Ozil Cazorla

APRIL FOOLS!

Alyhough it is a good news that a player like Ibrahimovic decided to join Arsenal at the end of his career as a football player, but sadly again that reminds us how the stubborness of Arsene Wenger costed and costing Arsenal. Ibrahimovic could have joined Arsenal sixteen years ago , but Wenger insisted he should come for a trial at Arsenal while many clubs were running after his signiture. Still we are afraid that there may be some trouble as Ibrahimovic is as arrogant as Arsene Wenger and that might cessecitate a lot oh compromises even in the way how Arsenal play football and even the relation between Ibrahimovic and other layers.
